Annie Hodgkins was born and raised in Virginia, where she received her bachelors of fine art degree in photography at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019. She is currently a MFA candidate in Photography at the University of Iowa, graduating in 2023.
Hodgkins' work is multimedia, utilizing sculpture, installation, and photography as a vehicle to convey her concepts. Her work navigates themes of survival and the various facets of women’s work.
